An update on our 5-year plan: Our 5-year plan used to include buying a house. No longer. We will have one someday, but not within 5 years. Stevie's going back to school, and he'll most likely go for his masters as well. If he does that, then there's no indication that he'll want to get his masters in the Bay Area, and we'll have to move for that. It depends on what branch of History he wants to specialize in, of course. After that, maybe he'll get his PhD (we'll have to see what happens). Only after his 9-to-10 years of education are completed will I be ready to consider purchasing a home. Before that, we don't know where we should settle down.
