It’s been raining here for weeks. Literally, weeks. That just isn’t how things are done in CA, and there have been floods and property damage and somewhere around 20 people lost to this series of atmospheric rivers. Now, I love rain – but I don’t love rain killing people. I’m grateful that we came through the whole thing with only a few internet connectivity blips, which amounted to nothing more than small inconveniences along the way. Once again, we’re lucky.
But just now, the sun has come out! I’m sitting in a sunbeam, a snoring cat by my side, and after having taken a nice long walk this morning I feel… fine? Sure, let’s say fine. Fine will work. Better than I have in a week at least. Again, I’ll take the good parts where I can get them.
