@laurendo @knorlen @gaylonparsons This is a good point – storage matters! I broke down and bought a few food-safe buckets for our flour storage once it was clear that the whole thing had gotten out of control.

@knorlen @laurendo @gaylonparsons I bake a fair amount now, I guess. I make sourdough 1-2x/week + WW 1.5lb sandwich loaf 1-2x/week. I’ve also been the go-to emergency “OMG I have no bread flour!” friend a few times. I think that last big buy will last me ~8 months.
@laurendo @gaylonparsons Oh we are counting AP? Okay that’s another 25. And then 15 of whole wheat. I, uh, started baking bread during the pandemic and then discovered Central Milling.
