Tired ankles.

I’ve had a Bosu gathering dust in the closet for about a year. One of those — “Sure! I’ll definitely use that” kind of purchases. I used it twice, and then the VCR ate the video. No more Bosu workouts. Given my new copious free time (kind of) and my resolution to work out every day while Stevie is gone (which I’ve already blown, BTW. I skipped Thursday.), I decided to get a couple of new Bosu videos and see how they go.

Oh. My. God. I know my ankles are weak, but to have them be part of me that is so sore I can’t quite finish the video? Crazy. OTOH, I have been doing exercises to strengthen them on and off (mostly off, I admit) for years. I can roll my ankles very easily. If doing these workouts on the Bosu helps my ankles and my back – the two most prone-to-injury areas I have – then I have to think that it’s a winner. Even if it’s a winner that is just now showing its stuff after gathering dust.

As for resolutions — the Audrey sweater is finished. I’ll post a pic if I can find the camera… Damn tiny camera… where is it?… I have cooked my own meals for every meal (except last night, when I picked up at Chef’s. No MSG headache for me, Karrie, but I did get way too much food as usual.). I gave myself a two-meals-out a week limit for the duration, so week one is a success on that front.
