Honestly, with some of conservatives, I simply disagree with them, which just means we analyze the same data and come to different conclusions. There are anti-war conservatives. There are anti-deficit conservatives. They do exist. Take this article from “American Conservative” magazine: Hunger for Dictatorship. I’m sure that I don’t agree with this guy in lots of ways. But he makes several well-reasoned points here. Though I really couldn’t articulate that gut worry I have had for some time, he covers it well — Fascism seems to be finding a foothold in America. And it makes me scared.
