Time asks Jon Stewart: “DOES IT WEIRD YOU OUT THAT PEOPLE TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY AS A POLITICAL PUNDIT?” Well, it weirds me out that I just read the phrase “weird you out” in a question posed by Time Magazine. It’s a funny article, though, with one of my two favorite quotes of the day from Mr. Stewart (re: the current administration): “And as far as I’m concerned, their best argument for election is, Yes, I drove us into a brick wall. But I didn’t blink!” Heh. My other favorite quote for the day is from John Kerry: “But I have news for President Bush: just because you can’t do something, doesn’t mean it can’t be done.”
It’s getting harder not to bitch about politics here. Maybe I should stick to yarn.
So my question is *why* avoid bitching about politics here. And if not here, where?
Just a thought. =)
